Description
Phyllorhiza Punctata, also colloquially called dotted root mouth jellyfish, is very similar to the species Mastigias Papua, but has more white spots on the screen. The colour of the shade varies between brownish and bluish.
The original distribution area is the Pacific and Indian oceans. For some years now, however, it has also been found as an invasive organism in the Gulf of Mexico.
To survive, you need daily white light for photosynthesis. For this purpose, the aquarium must be equipped or retrofitted with a daylight full spectrum light.
Our jellyfish are very young to be able to live and grow in your aquarium as long as possible.
This jellyfish species is suitable for jellyfish aquariums of any size.
