Description
The cauliflower jellyfish also called Catostylus mosaicus are a very common jellyfish species for jellyfish aquariums as they are relatively easy to keep.
This species is distinguished by its dome-shaped umbrella and its 8 tentacles that look like feather-like bands.
They are very popular because of their variety of colours from light blue to dark purple and burgundy red. Sometimes the jellyfish are also white or brown, but this depends on the type of symbiotic algae in the jellyfish’s body. They are of a rather firm consistency and very active and fast swimmers.
Our Blue Blubber are very young, so a maximum life span in your aquarium is guaranteed.
This jellyfish species is suitable for jellyfish aquaria of any size.
