Description
Stomolophus meleagris, also called cannonball jellyfish, is a umbrella jellyfish of the order of root mouth jellyfish.
These jellyfish are rather firm and very fast and active swimmers. They have a yellowish/milky and also sometimes bluish, dome-shaped umbrella.
Stomolophus m. are present in many waters. One finds it at the western Atlantic-coast, eastern Pacific-coast, the Japanese sea and also in parts of the tropical Atlantic and the Caribbean

This jellyfish species is suitable for jellyfish aquariums of any size.
