Description
Flame jellyfish also called Rhopilema esculentum is a subspecies of the root mouth jellyfish. They occur mainly in the Japanese, Yellow and South China Sea.
The flame jellyfish has a round, bell-shaped screen. It has many red filamentous, and short tentacles with numerous nettle cells.
They are slightly poisonous, so they should be handled with care when maintaining the aquarium. When touched, it may cause a slight itching for some people.
Our flame jellyfish are very young, so a maximum life span in your aquarium is guaranteed.
This jellyfish species is suitable for jellyfish aquaria of any size.
